NameHog has teamed up with a fellow web hosting and domain name company, daily.co.uk, meaning we now all come under the Daily Internet PLC group.
Working alongside Daily gives us access to a much wider infrastructure and also more resources, allowing us to develop NameHog further and take us forward, while at the same time optimising our existing systems and improving the customer experience.
Don’t worry though, It’s business as normal as far as your packages with NameHog are concerned. We won’t be migrating your account over to Daily, we’re not adjusting our prices and you’ll still have the same control panels, login details and everything else you already access.
You will however have access to an exciting new product range you have not seen before, such as Daily’s Virtual Private Servers and Hosted Exchange Mailboxes. Our engineers are also already upgrading our hosting and email infrastructure, to give further resilience and performance boosts.

What will happen to my existing services with NameHog?
Don’t worry, you’re not being outsourced abroad! Your services are still hosted in the same Data Centers and will continue as normal. You will visit the same control panels, use the same login details, have the same nameservers/DNS and visit the same URLs
NameHog is now part of Daily Internet PLC, but we still operate as an independent unit with our own website.

How do I contact NameHog?
In the same way you did before – via a Support Ticket from your NameHog control panel or our website.
Please note, our main telephone number has changed from the previous 01604 number to a new single number of 0845 496 8182. We also have a normal geographical number if required for mobile users (details on our NameHog Website under “contact us”)

What benefits will I see now that NameHog is part of Daily Internet PLC?
We now have access to full development and system administration teams, giving us the resource to improve and develop our existing systems and introduce new products and options.
Our engineers are already actively updating the NameHog email services to increase performance and security and reduce any Spam email travelling through our network that can have an adverse effect on our customers in terms of undeliverable mail or delays
There is plenty more service improvements in the pipeline, but as mentioned above, if you have any feature requests then send us your ideas in a ticket.
We’re also expanding the technical support teams to give customers access to a further improved services.
